CHINA GLAZE RUBY PUMPS SWATCHES & REVIEW

Good Morning Girls!!

Okay color today is one of my favorite: Ruby Pumps from China Glaze.

I know almost every review site had swatched them but this is mine:-) Unfortunately it didn’t turn out as great as it should be. My photography skill just sucks! :-(

Anyway back to the color; Ruby pumps is a deep red polish with little shimmers on it. Applying it was easy, the drying time was remarkable and removing it also wasn’t so much of a pain unlike other shimmery, glitter polishes.

In a whole, LOVE IT!! Okie girls, as usual its Monday morning and I’m getting late!! Tada..

COLOR CLUB UNTAMED LUXURY SWATCHES

Good Morning Girls!!

Today's Color: Untamed Luxury from Color Club.

Its a blue glitter polish (close to teal i suppose) that has a matching base coat. It was quite dense so the below pics only required 2 coats.

With Flash

Drying time was pretty fast and it applied well too. Only thing i don't like about glitters is some sticks out of your fingers! Just like how it is in the pic so it feels really uncomfortable coz looks messy. Also removing them is a pain:-)

OPI RED SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Good Morning Girls..

Color of the day is OPI RED!!

Its obviously Red and its real red chilly red! Its similar to Big Apple Red, OPI Keys To My Karma and Color So Hot It Berns. Couldn’t do a comparison here, as time was limited but will be doing it soon :-)

The Application and drying time was like other normal OPIs. I didn’t see much swatches of this online so I really hope this is good enough for you girls to have a whole idea of how ‘red’ it is :-D

GARGANTUAN GREEN GRAPE (OPI) SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Hi girls…

What I have here is a color from OPI called “Gargantuan Green Grape” which means.. I’ve absolutely got no idea what it means!! Seriously! Whoever who came up with name like this is either a genius (coz ill remember this name like forever) or didn’t know what to write so he/she had this bizarre hallucination of a gigantic green grape in a bottle? I don’t know:-)

Anyway, as for the color; Love it! Its such an opaque cream green polish that if you go back to the name, you can just imagine a whole huge green grape being freshly squeezed to its tiniest bit (assuming the juice is green) and producing such intense milky green. Simply gorgeous!

Application and drying time is as all the other OPI polishes. I needed only 2 coats for this. Totally Love it! So what you think?

ORLY CALYPSO BLUE SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Good Morning girls!

Here’s another favorite blue of mine from Orly. Ok now blue is a fav regardless which brand its from for me:-)

Calypso Breeze from Orly:

It’s a bright blue crème and it applied heavenly. Drying time was great too. I wouldn’t say I never saw this before coz I did:-) looks a lot like Essie’s Mesmerize no? Probably a shade or two lighter than mesmerize?

ORLY MINT MOJITO SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Good morning girls.

Todays color is Orly’s Mint Mojitos. Love he name but the color is seriously nothing like the mint color I expected. When I saw the name mint, I thought it would have at least look minty. Instead it’s a bright green color with a little hint of yellow. Its not neon-y bright, but at some level, it is still bright.

The application was great. The polish was a little bit towards the ‘thin’ side and it was a bit ‘runny’. Drying time was average. As you can see in the pics I have this bubbles on my nails? Well that’s because I only put 1 thick coat of this instead of 2-3 thin layers. I had to rush so I was too lazy too slowly put thin layers. Shouldn’t have done that :-( oh well..

CHINA GLAZE MILLENIUM SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Morning girls..

Color today: China Glaze Millennium.

It’s a pure silver based metallic color that is so great because I love the way it dries really fast!! It’s the silverest silver polish that I’ve ever seen and when it dries it becomes metal like polish!

Application was flawless and everything else was great too. All in all, it’s a great polish and I hear it’s the best for konading :-) Will be trying that out soon.. Cya.

COLOR CLUB UPTOWN GIRL SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Morning girls…

Ok so I’m back to blogging, and hopefully its for good :-D. Sometimes this lazy part of me creeps in though and I just hope it doesn’t effect my blogging  this year:-D. SO how’s things? I really hope Christmas and New Year was well for all of you. Well work starts now! (For me at least). It’s been almost 3 weeks since I went to work and today is my first day at work since new year. Of course there are plenty of resolution yada yada yada but its not starting out good :-( I just can’t help it! Wanna jump back to bed if I could!

Anyway today I’m wearing Color Club’s Up Town Girl. Now that’s a good start :-)

Absolutely love this color. Up town girl is a light purple with a hint of grey. You know the –not-so-bright purple type. It reminds me a lot of the discontinued color from OPI: Parlez Vous OPI. I’ve always hoped to have it back in the list (wonder why OPI Discontinued it) but this is totally a great substitute. Unfortunately I’m not able to do any comparison, as I don’t have Parlez Vous anymore :-(

Now lets get technical:-)

Application: was flawless. The brush is easy to handle so it gave a good non-streaky finish. The formula is average. It’s a bit towards the thick side  but again I didn’t have any problem with application so its fine :-) Probably because it was crème? I don’t know. The drying time was ok. Not too fast but didn’t keep me waiting that much. All in all, I like this polish.
