BLOOP DE PARIS NAIL POLISH SWATCHES, REVIEW & COMPARISON

Here are some random colours from Bloop: the greens. You know how I like green and all that so here it is.
The first colour is a shimmery, sheer silver-ish green (H563). These pics are a bit blur as I had taken them indoor but to describe it properly, I would say it has dirty green as the base, with mini silver-ish and slight gold to give it a shimmery, micro-glitter finish. Application was easy with its wide brush; however, this required 4 layers for a good opaque finish. Drying time was a little bit long, but that was easily ‘modified’ with my absolutely fast drying Nubar Diamont topcoat.

The second colour is a peacock green that has metallic finishing. The code is H107.

If you ask me, I would say this colour is very much alike to all the other fall colours this year and last. I could easily say this looks so similar to Misa’s, Opi’s, and Nubar’s. So I did a comparison and this is what I got:

Yap.. Misa Like It That Way (From Misa What I Like About You Collection 2010) and Nubar Conserve (from Nubar Going Green Collection) looks very similar to this. If I recall properly there is another colour similar to this from Skin Food but unfortunately I cant find it :-(
Anyway, these are the only colours I have at the moment. I’m sorry for the bad picture quality. Took it indoor and am still learning how to adjust the lightings. Hope to get it right soon :-)

Thanks for reading..

BLOOP: BIG CHUNKY GLITTERS SWATCHES

Good Morning Girls.
Ever wonder how big chunky glitter nails will look like if you had them on? Well have a look at it by yourself (on my nails of course)

This range from Bloop de Paris is all so chunky huge! I’m not such a fan of big glitters but these are cool! It looks like little diamonds on my nails under the flash. Application wise it was easy to apply; unlike other huge glitters. The only thing is that it didn’t give the shine you would hope from a polish, so applying a top coat would be great (the pictures didn’t have one). In terms of opacity, the base colour isn’t so opaque as you can see on my nails. This was 3 layers and yet it couldn’t give such a good coverage.
The worst part was to remove them. As you all know removing glitters can be a pain in the arse at times. But no worries; just don’t rub the remover all over the place. I mean soak your cotton balls in the remover, place them on the polish for few seconds till you think they are all fully ‘covered’ by the remover, and using one swift motion, pull them off. This will reduce the glitters from spreading all over the place.
As for the colours, I don’t know why but I feel like it would look like OPI's Mad As Hatter or Deborah Lipmann's Happy Birthday if I painted all three together:

But apparently not huh?Wish they were smaller glitters:-) Well.. No harm trying..

DISCLAIMER POLICY: These were passed to me for review.

BlOOP DE PARIS NEON PLASTIC SWATCHES

What a warm Sunday eve isn't it? It is really hot down here in Kuching and i really couldn't do anything at all so i decided to take pictures of the new colours i go from Bloop. Thats right, BLOOP! instead of OPI, or ORLY or China Glaze or Zoya. This time im going after Malaysian made products that are equally gorgeous and doesn't dent your wallet.

My first try is to put on the Neon colours from this brand and guess what?! Its almost similar to the ORLY Plastix collection! It comes out as a matte finish, actually very 'plastic-ky' finish and it dries remarkably fast too! The first colour was the pink neon:

When i put this on it really reminded me a lot of OPI strawberry margherita with a matte top coat on (like how i always do it), and i was mesmerized by the plastic look. Its so plastic! I mean seriously! It looks shinny here but thats because of the sunlight, not the polish itself. Beautiful Pink!

The next colour was the neon Orange:

Now this is what i call real neon! It was so bright, it hurt my eye! However bare in mind this colour is very very similar to the Orly Plastix Collection colour "Old School Orange". Imagine getting something similar at way cheaper price! cool huh?

Next is Neon Yellow:

Now the problem with this 1 was that i just couldn't capture the colour perfectly. This is 3 layers and yet I couldn't get a perfect coverage:-( Again this is a very bright colour too.

Bloop had another 2 colours for this "plastix collection"- pink and purple i think. However it was out of stock in the shop nearby my place (Sentiments) . I will update those once its here. Overall this is what i think:

Pros:
- Its Cheap!(Rm 9.90 (WM) / Rm 10.90 (EM)
- I love the wide brush! Very very easy to apply.
- The Drying time is way faster than other malaysian or korean nail polish brand
- The colours are very up to date (imagine the plastix collection isnt even out yet!)
- It's widely and easily available in Malaysia
- Its long lasting if you put a proper long lasting top coat

Cons:
- I dont like the smell. My housemates loves it though
- They don't have cute names or real collection set so its really hard to identify one from another.

If you girls want to purchase them and don't have any bloop store nearby do let me know and i can forward your emails to the seller here in Kuching:-) Hope you girls enjoyed this..
Have a nice week ahead..
