CHANEL LES TENTATIONS DE CHANEL HOLIDAY 2010-PULSION NAIL SWATCHES & REVIEW

Good Morning girls..

Today I’m gonna take a break from the ‘long’ holiday collection and gonna show you the shortest of all holiday collection; The Chanel Holiday Collection 2010 that consist of one deep bright fuchsia crème color: Pulsion.

Pulsion is a bright pink and it’s surely an attention catcher. Wearing it too work was the best thing ever for me as I got a lot of positive remarks for it and consequently I could ‘promote’ my site too :-)

On the whole, I think this color is great but nothing unique or new here. Pinks has been there for ages so this is just another pink in your collection if you’ve got 100’s of pinks like me. However, it will also be one of your favorite pinks because of the brand. I don’t know about you guys but it is for me:-) Application was easy thanks to its brush, and drying time was fast too. It gave a glossy finish just the way I like it.

Now girls, I purchased this color not realizing someone close to me got me one too. So be nice girls and if I reach 500 followers, this is gonna be my next give away :-D

CHANEL KHAKI VERT SWATCHES & REVIEW

Good Morning Girls..

This is a very much-delayed post. I’m really sorry for that but seriously blame it on the sun:-) Its been crazy lately that I just cant do any swatches because it’s a lil cloudy in the afternoon and evening here. Haish..

Anyway, presenting to you, the most beautiful green ever made; Chanel Khaki Vert!

I love this color. Its so army green! And its creamy! This was 2 coats only! Its just gorgeous! I just love it! Im so excited about it. This is my favorite in my Chanel collection followed by Paradoxal. What about you?

CHANEL ROSE CONFIDENTIAL NAIL LACQUER SWATCHES

This swatch today is going to be of my new Chanel colour- Rose Confidential. Truthfully I’m not much into brands. I purchase what I like and so on and I know there are lots of people out these who is against Chanel (its expensive and not as long lasting as other cheaper options), but admit it they always release unique colours. At one glance probably you wouldn’t notice it but to find a dupe for it is almost impossible!

Like today’s colour. At one glance I really thought it looked a lot like Chocolate Moose from OPI, but no; Chanel Rose Confidential is pinker.

Chanel Rose Confidential is a pink-brown polish that was opaque with 2 layers only! The colour is just something I would wear to work on a daily basis. Its ‘mild’ but surely an attention grabber. Application wise; again I dislike the brush but the formulation and thickness of this polish compensates it, so not a problem overall. Price is a bit towards the high end: Rm70, but totally worth it if like me you are going to wear this all the time.

CHANEL ROSE INSOLENT SWATCHES, REVIEW AND COMPARISON

First of all I’m sorry for the lack of updates these past few days. I had to ‘balik kampung’ because it was mommy’s birthday.

Anyway it was for few days and I had only bout 3 hours to spent in Mid Valley and guess what? This shopaholic me couldn’t find anything to purchase! So I had to buy the new Chanel Collection. Had to *wink*

I’m not sure about the rest of you but I’ve never heard of this new collection before. Its called the Chanel Rouge Allure Fall Collection and the lacquer comes in 3 colours;

• Rose Insolent
• Rouge Fatal
• Rose Confidential 

I bought two of them:-)

Today’s swatches ill focus on Rose Insolent first. It’s a bright pink that looked kind of normal in the promo pictures, but I definitely like it. I don’t usually do bright pinks and red because of my dark skin tone but this was definitely a beauty.

Application wise; I had a hard time applying- the brush again, but due to the consistent formula that isn’t too thick, it turned out well on my nails without a streak. 2 layers was more than enough for full coverage.

As for the colour, I would say it is unique in its own way. Its not the normal hot pink you see everywhere else. Well I did think It was but when I did a comparison of it with the other hot pink I had, it somewhat looked coral pink rather than pink-pink. None of these colours came close to it:

OPI Short Story, OPI India Mood For Love, OPI La Pazitevely Hot, OPI That’s Berry Daring, 2 Pedicure Vita Range from Skin Food.

And it turns out only China Glaze’s Sugar High was the closest I had.

Sadly not that close aye? I have another colour I think would be similar, but since its with a friend, ill do the comparison some other time. Until then.. Take Care and check out tomorrow's post on Rose Confidential

KONAD M57 & CHANEL PARADOXAL SWATCHES

Good Morning girls,

ok today my post is all about the M57 konad image plate swatches. It has 5 design but i only did swatches on the 4 main ones. The base i used Chanel Paradoxal (OMG i'm loving it!), and as for the design its the Konad special polish- pink. So all in all, this is how it looks:

CHANEL PARADOXAL SWATCHES & REVIEW

Before i 'met' Chanel Paradoxal 'personally', i thought it was really gorgeous. A part of me loved it coz it was Chanel (who doesn't like Chanel?), and another part of me loved it because its dark purple! I was hunting high and low for it and came to realize that it wasn't even been released in Malaysia yet! I went to Robinsons, Jusco MV, Parkson; The Spring etc and it turns out they did have the stock only they weren't allowed to sell them till mid Aug. I practically begged the person in KLIA to sell this to me and finally.. I 'met' Chanel Paradoxal. 
Initially i was excited about it (its my first Chanel!), but when i saw the bottle i was turned off because it didn't look as dark as its suppose to be:-( 
But when i applied it, i was like WOW! there goes my love at first sight again:-).

The thing with this colour is that i can't really describe what the colour is. At different angling and lighting it projects different colours! Even the shimmers that can be seen in the bottle cant be seen at certain angling. Anyways, the colours i can conclude from this polish are:

• Dark Purple
• Lilac
• Dark Grey
• Blue
• Taupe
• and at some point deep red too!

Damn! no wonder its so expensive! Imagine you get 6 colours at the price of Rm 70 only! :-/.

Application wise i would say its easy to apply. Its a spot on pigmented polish that requires hardly 2 coats to have the perfect finish. It looks so creamy and thick that at one point it felt like i was having choc fudge on my nails (felt like licking it too. thank god im not tht crazy :-D) However i didn't like the brush much. Quite hard to apply with it. Drying time was good- like other high end polishes. 

Overall i think every year Chanel comes out with a limited edition polish that is for sure to be a hit (last year was Jade). This year, i think its this:-)

P/S- I'm not gonna rate this polish coz im gonna be bias. Everything is perfect but the brush and price:-)
