SKIN FOOD PEDICURE VITA NAIL POLISH SWATCHES

Good Morning girls.
Here is another 5 colours from the Skin Food Pedicure Vita Range. As usual; application was smooth, 3 layers was more than enough. The only pros; long drying time, and it isn't Big 3 toxic free:-(

I as usual love the green a lot. But i couldn't help but wonder if the blue looks similar to "OPI's Ogre The Top" and the green with "OPI's Greenwich Village"; probably a little bit lighter. What you think?

PASTEL GREEN-BLUE OMBRE MANICURE

Hi girls..
Today’s post is all about multicolored nails. Ok not so much of the rainbow “paddlepop” like nails, but multicolor-shaded nails is more like it. I got this idea from All lacquered Up.
The colors I used are; (from little finger to thumb) Green from Skin Food nail vita, Essie’s Apple Mint Candy, Essie’s Caicos & Turquoise, Mixture of Essie’s C&T and Orly’s Bailamos, Orly Bailamos.
This pic I had The Face Shop’s Blue glitter polish on it:
This gives me an idea to make my own multicolored ombre manicure in orange! Going to do it one of these days. Till the.. Tc..

SKIN FOOD- PEDICURE RANGE SWATCHES, REVIEW & COMPARISON PART 1

Good Morning Girls,
The swatches ive schedualed for today is the Skin Food’s Pedicure range. It has about 9 colours in it. However, the swatches today are for 4 colours only. All this colours are pretty. I’m not gonna talk much on it as im rushing (Monday bah!) so let the pictures do the talking.

Comparison: OPI Meet Me On The Star Ferry, Zoya Rea, and the skin food colour:

These are greener, not at all similar like the above colour:-)

Application wise it was ok; not as great as the creamy Nail Vita collection I had reviewed previously. A little to the streaky side. The colours are very up to date; I’ve just received the Misa- What I Like About You Collection and China Glaze Vintage Vixen, and I believe there are some similar colours spotted. I’ll be doing a comparison in another post one of these days. So do check em out. Neway I’ve got to rush now.. so tc..

THE SKIN FOOD NAIL VITA COLLECTION

Good Morning Girls..
Ok this will be the fastest update; Bought all the colours from The Skin Food the other day from Mid Valley. The Nail Vita range was Rm 8 i think. Anyways, its all greens and blues (just the way i like it hehe).. The colours ill review along the way ya.

This colour is actually more green than blue in real. The last picture that was taken using flash exhibits the closest version of the "real-life" colour. Looks a lot like Nubar's Go Green Collection; Earth

This is the closest i could get from this green. Very sheer- this is 4 layers. Actually three is enough but i wanted it to look as close to Essie's Mint Candy Apple. However it couldnt be matched because Essie's is more pastel while this isn't. But well.. Its similar i would say.

I love the 'jelly' effect of this colour so much that i had to put all the ok pics in too:-)

Perfect colour match. This is how it looks like in real life too. A lot like Conserve from Nubar Going Green Collection

Overall its a good collection. Application wise was good as the brush is a bit easier to handle, formulation is very 'cair' so you might need more than 3 layers to have the perfect finish. Drying time sucks; i had to wait so long although i did very thin layerings. Probably because of the number of layers. I hate the smell (again). But overall its a good buy especially because all the colours look like other brand's colour. Just put extra shiny top coat and you are good to go. Nobody will be able to tell the difference:-)

With Lots of Love:
Nisha
