ESSIE RESORT COLLECTION SWATCHES

Essie Resort Collection is a collection from Essie that consists of 4 beautiful colours:

  • Lapis of Luxury Dreamy ocean blue
  • Splash of Grenadine Playful magenta pink
  • Playa del Platinum Elegant and sheer sandy gray
  • Turquoise & Caicos Flirty and pretty tropical aqua

I must say i was very much pleased with the colours.. All of them are so nice and creamy; just the way i like it:-) Take a look at it and judge it for yourself:

Lapis of Luxary is a bluish cream. Very nice. The camera just couldnt capture the shade. Its much more softer blue than this. The first layer was ok. But the subsequent layers brought out such beautiful finish that ill have to agree with the name: 'Lapis" of Luxary:-)
*Lapis= Layers in Malay

Splash or Grenadine is a beautiful pink that i would say can be normally found in other collections too. But its nice definitely..

Turquoise & Caicos.. Hehe.. I never say anything bad againts turquoise so im gonna skip this biased review. All i can say is tht its still on my nails although i did these swatches 3 days ago:-)

Playa De Platinum is a brownish grey polish that caught my eye the moment i saw this collection ( after the turquoise of course!). Its so nice! I mean its something someone can wear with everything. Trust me when you have this on, you will forget about those soft pink polishes you girls always go for when you want the toned down look. Nyummy!!

Overall i think this collection is almost perfect. The colours are beautiful, the application was easy, the drying time was good, the only problem is its a bit costly. But hell.. its gorgeous or what!:-)
