As everyone knows, our nails are so noticeable and it basically conveys a message to everyone around us. Believe me or not but just imagine shaking hands with a professional with awful looking nails! It gives bad impression isnt it?
So then what to do? Just follow these Do's and Dont's and just pray everything goes well for our little nals:-)

Nail Care Tips: The DO’S

DO drink lots of water. Sometimes abrittle nails can be due to lack of fluid intake.
Do apply nail polish removers before applying nail polish regardless you have polishes on or not. Y? Coz this will remove any natural grease on the nail surface leading to a longer lasting manicure/pedicure.
DO take supplements like Vitamin A,C,E, and B12. Additionally Calcium, Zinc,Iron, Protein and Folic acid will also help to prevent brittleness and make nails healthier. These days thanks to mamak stalls and all we just don't get enough nutrient unlike out great great grand parents last time who didn't have the luxary of mamaks:-)
Do buffer your nails once a week (maks 2 weeks). Do not buffer vigrously and too long to avoid damage to your nails. This can help in reducing peeling of the nail polishes.
DO use a soft nail file instead of emery board as it can be very damaging if used inappropriately.
Do wear protective gloves when handling harsh chemicles, or in contact with water (long period). Dish washings are among other things that requires gloves.
DO devote your attention to cuticles. Use moisturizer to avoid cuticles to dry out. Avoid outgrown and ungroomed cuticles as these can reduce nail growth. In budget? DIY with normal moisturizer or olive oil or even petroleum jelly! (VASELIN).

Nail Care Tips: The DON’TS

DON'T file backwards and forwards. Do it only in one direction to reduce nails from splitting.
Don't file nails when they are still wet
DON't use varnish removers more than once or twice a week. This can cause drying of your nails causing them to break easily. Make sure your nail removers are moisturized and contains all the essential vitamins.
DON'T use your nails as if they are digging tools - remove staples,  scratch hard objects etc.
DON’T over manicure the cuticles as this can damage them causing them to thicken and overgrow.
After a nail care session, conduct a little test. To see how smooth your nails really are run them down an old pair of tights or pantyhose. Any snags will help you locate the nail that needs further attention.
These cares above might need some spending on these stuff innitially, but hey.. its all worth it ok:-) have fun.. Need any help? email us at nailgalore@gmail.com. I will try to help you guys out:-) XO
