OPI BURLESQUE HOLIDAY 2010 COLLECTION SWATCHES & REVIEW-OTHERS

Hey girls.. So this is the second part of the OPI burlesque collection swatches. This don’t have as much glitter as the other 6 colors but regardless, it’s still pretty. This second half of the collection has lots of reds and I really hope you girls like it.
Ali’s Big Break

Ali’s big break is a red ‘jelly’ like color that is bright and usual for OPI colors (similar to keys to my karma only the jelly version). However, the great thing is that it is packed with lots of liitle gold sparkly glitters. Really pretty. I couldn’t capture it in the pics but in real life its awesome! I needed 3 coats for this

Let Me Entertain You.

This is a bright pinkish reddish polish that also has lots of glitters on it. Unlike Ali’s big break however, it gave an opaque finish with only 2 coats!

Rising Star

Rising star is the only polish with a bronzey-gold finish in this collection. Somehow it reminds me of a ‘golder’ version of Nubar Bronzo from Venetian Glass collection. A bit brighter but nice..

Take The Stage

Take the stage is a red-ish version of rising star. Also a great color. Now this is exactly Nubar Bronzo so this is a total disappointment for me coz now I have two of the same color:-(

Teasy Does It

Tease-y does it is a deep plum coloured polish with little purplish pinkish glitters on it. I love this color because its so dark (im into dark colors now), an eye catcher and fun looking color as well. Love the way it comes with glitters. Really nice..

Overall this collection isn’t at all a disappointment. You know how I’ve been going on and on about OPI coming out with same boring colors again and again etc? Well this collection is probably one of the few that isn’t similar to anything they have produced so ya .. I love this collection and I really hope that they don’t stop producing ‘new’ colors..
Application for this collection was great. However, ive noticed that the brushes got a little wider than the last time. Is it pro-xl-wide brush now? Coz this seriously didn’t fit my little finger. I really hope its just a trial for this collection only and they go back to the normal size. Other than that it’s a great collection with good application as well. Very smooth. The removal was a pain at times because the glitters got stuck and was a little tedious to remove. The drying time was average for some and great for others. But nothing more than 10 mins so that’s fine..Overall, as ive mention its an amazing collection, with beautiful colors to satisfy everyone's "holiday needs". Great! :-)

So.. which is your favorite color in this collection? I cant choose :-( Too many!

Well girls, there is lots of ‘mad as hatter’ look alike here! Better still in various colors! The colors are exactly like the swatches so im not gonna go on and on about that. Instead ive put in more pictures. Enjoy..

OPI Extra-va-vaganza:

OPI Bring On The Bling:

OPI Glow Up Already:

OPI Simmer & Shimmer

Show It & Glow It:

OPI Sparkle-iscious

-Sorry had to use the xtra large image mode:-(
Overall it’s a beautiful collection. All these picture had 2-3coats of it. It would have been better if I had covered the yellow nails of mine with something white as a base first to get the “pop up” effect but I ran out of my ridge fillerL Neway, as I said, applying it was great and all but seriously removing it was a pain in the arse. You know.. glitters!! Anyway overall; A great collection. I hear its limited edition so you better grab yours fast or who knows it might be sold out worldwide like Mad as Hatter if you wait till the very last minute :-)

So.. which is your favorite?

HERE TODAY, ARAGON TOMORROW OPI SUEDE SWATCHES & REVIEW

Hi everyone.. so hws the weekend so far? Mine was absolutely great! That was such a long weekend I had. Wish I could prolong it. Cant believe in the next 10 hrs ill be back at work :-(
Neway, this weekend I did lots of swatches so I think this week its gonna be a busy week for me updating new stuff so do check Nail Galore out often ya. As for today, I’m gonna show you swatches from one of OPI’s Suede colors; Here Today..Aragon Tomorrow.
Now before I show you girls this let me tell you that this color is my savior! Last week I was between polish colors and I didn’t have anything on my nails and all of a sudden, I had to rush to Hq to meet my director in 5 mins and this was the color I grabbed. I couldn’t go without polish coz my nails was very yellow (been lazy applying base coat these days) and if it weren’t for this color, my director would have seriously thought I was a chronic smoker and I would probably be death (no smoking allowed for health professional). So thank you Suede Here today..aragon tomorrow.
Now as for the color, tada…

A perfect dark green with little shimmers on it. This is the suede version of the original color from Espana collection. The original is much darker. This color is nothing like that. I wonder why didn’t they give another name to this one when all the other similar colors they give different names to them. Haish..
Neway, as for the application, this was a little more forgiving than the other suede’s. its probably a different formula as this ‘feels’ much thinner so application wasn’t as hard as the others. Drying time was very very fast. Remember my story where I had to meet the director in 5 mins? Well this dried lesser than that. All I can say is that I love this color. It saved my job! (I know I’m being overly dramatic here but really!). Take my advice girls. Make sure you have a matte or suede color of any brands in your polish collection. It’s the fastest solution if you had an emergency :-) Although of course it doesn’t last long too..
Hope you girls like this.. TC

NUBAR HOT LIME GREEN SWATCH & REVIEW

Morning girls.
This is some random color im wearing today:-)
Feeling really into neon today so im wearingà Nubar’s Hot Lime Green! Its very very striking!

Application unfortunately for this 1 wasn’t as great as all the other Nubar colors. It appeared to be streaky and I needed 3 coats for this. Of course with three coats the drying time was long too. In fact very long. The color is ok. I’m in my manic phase so I think its coolJ what you think? Too bright for you??

ORLY TIS IS THE SEASON COLLECTION SWATCHES & REVIEW

Morning girls.
Today I’ve got a new Orly collection to show to you guys. Initially I didn’t really like it as usual. I was contemplating whether to buy it or not but after so much thought, the shopaholic side of me took charge and I bought this collection. The reason why it didn’t interest me initially was because all brands tends to come out with similar colors with probably a shade or two lesser every winter and I didn’t want to get few of the same colors In my collection. But somehow there was this ‘magnetic’ force that had pulled me towards this collection so tada… here it is.

Winter Wonder.

Winter wonder is a white silver-ish, shimmery glitter polish that’s absolutely great! I love this one! I think it was created to resemble snowflakes and although I’ve never seen one in real life, this might look like itJ this was three coats with OPI ridge filler as the base to bring that colour ‘out’.

Glitz & Glamour.

This is a gold, shimmery glitter polish. It’s a little towards the bronze-yellow side. Reminds me of OPI’s Bling Dynasty but I don’t have a comparison to show you girls. This was 2 coat. The shimmer is quite dense and that itself surprised me!:-)

Rockin Rocket.

Rockin Rocket is a burgundy- purple color that has a little shimmer on it. I don’t usually like burgundy but I’ve got to give this some credit though. There is something really nice about this color that it became my second favorite in this collection. I just don’t know how to explain it! This was also 2 coats.

Meet Me Under The Mistletoe.

Blue-green with lots of gold shimmer and it leans more towards the blue. A pretty color but again since there are just too many blue-greens this year I just cant like this 1 no matter how beautiful it looks:-(

Candy Cane Lane.

Another creamy red that looks like OPI’s Big Red Apple type. Boring!...

Naughty Or Nice.

A common blackish- purple-ish cream polish. 2 coats was enough for this 1.

Overall this collection had some gorgeous color, and some boring old colors. The application was great and the drying time ws marvelous. Getting rid of the shimmer was a pain though but all in all, I feel that it’s a standard ok collection. I want more from Orly! Something like the Cosmix collection!
