ZOYA MOD MATTES COLLECTION SWATCHES & REVIEWS

Good Morning girls. Color today is from Zoya’s Mod Matte Collection. They are just so gorgeous! Love all the color and its so summer-y! All of them were easy to apply. The formula is thin and very forgiving unlike other mattes and it gives the polish a very matte-velvety finish. The only problem was the brush. It’s a little too thin so it gave me brush strokes when I applied the polishes on my nails. I did three thin coats for each color. I wonder if two thick coats would do to eliminate the brush strokes. Hm..
Neway, the colors are as below. Out of all, I love lolly the most. Its so bright and nice! When this collection was released I was waiting anxiously for mitzi. However it just doesn’t look nice on my nails:-( Probably someone fairer will look better with it on. Phoebe is nice too but surprisingly I love lolly better. Enough with the talking, heres the colors:-)

ZOYA BEBE SWATCHES AND REVIEW

OMG! I’m so in love with my new polishes! Can stop ‘playing’ with them that I hardly have the ‘time’ to swatch them (besides the weather is going crazy these two days).
So neway, I’ve done few collections so I’m hoping to review them on one of these days. So do come back to check em out. While then, here I’m posting this Zoya colour that I swatched last Friday; Bebe.
Bebe is a sheer pink colour that has a shimmer finish. It’s a beautiful light pink. Absolutely great for those who wants the toned down look to work (I’m wearing OPI’s No Room For The Blues tomorrow to work:-D). The only problem with Bebe is that it’s so so sheer that I had almost given up layering my nails with it to get an opaque finish. So finally, this is what I got with 4 coats of Zoya Bebe;

I would have had more to say about it during my ‘toned down, nude look day’ mood but now I’m into brights so not gonna say much:-)

Neway.. What you girls think?

P/S: Nail Galore Merdeka Giveaway is still on till 30/9/2010. Join now for those who haven’t! :-D

ZOYA TANGY SWATCHES

Zoya Tangy. This is a metallic lime green that would look absolutely perfect for fair to medium skin. I love this colour! I mean what’s there not to love? Its green, its metallic, and its easy to apply! Will surely grab the attention you are seeking for.

Thanks for reading..

OPI TEAL THE COWS COME HOME, ZOYA TALLULAH AND BUNDLE MONSTER BM16 NAIL ART

Hi girls..

I found one of my old OPI polish- Teal The Cows Come Home (Cute name isn’t it?) and I decided to do a random swatch on it. Upon applying it, it didn’t turn out to be so much of a unique blue to be worn alone so instead; I mixed it up a bit.
I blended it with Zoya’s Tallulah, a blue that’s a shade darker than Teal The Cows Come Home using the colour blending style like here, and topped it up with Bundle Monster’s Fauxnad BM 16 using Konad’s special nail polish in black.

Of course the design wasn’t wide enough for the whole nail hence the reason for the gap on the sides. But it can go unnoticed if you don’t see it :-D

So what you think?

ZOYA REVERIE COLLECTION SWATCHES AND REVIEW

I slept off last night recalling that i haven't done a review on the Zoya Reverie Collection and i actually couldn't sleep the whole night after that thinking where did i put the pics and yada yada..

So anyways, now im here with this huge panda like eye doing this very much forgotten review:-) Please forgive me if i cant recall the colours or wrongly reviewed this collection as its been 2 months since i took the pictures. Hell even the pics arent that great coz hvnt got my tripod yet at tht point of time:-). Hopefully the huge mug of white coffee will help me:-)
Reverie collection is one of the 'new' collection from Zoya. It consists of 6 beautiful duochrome colours which unfortunetely couldnt be captured by the camera:-(:

Adina is a purplish colour with multiple duo-chromes. I seriously mean multiple- there was blue, green, gold etc colour depending on your angling. My favorite of all in this collection

When i saw this colour is was very 'happy'. This is such a beauty. Its a darker shade than this in real life and like Adina it also hv multiple duo chrome effects though not as much. When I see this colour, it reminds me of barbie:-) don't know why.. probably because of the pink.

Laney is a metallic silver with not much of a duo chrome effect. However at certain angle i did see a little bit of greenish hints.

Lana is a orangish reddish colour with a duo chrome effect of goldish if im not mistaken.

Gwin is an orangish coral like colour. Its not much of red in the real life. I love this orange. Reminds me so much of CNY :-) (not forgetting the ang pau :-D)
One of my favorite pink of all- Reese.. Nice duo chrome effects too..

Overall i think this is a great duochrome collection. Its easy to apply and it had a balanced formulation. Application was 3 coats each as it was a bit sheer but its alright. The price is ok. Not that expensive but not cheap as well. The colours turned out to be way better than what i saw in the bottle. Overall- i think this collection is great! Especially since its all duochromes; something thats becoming my favorite day after day:-)
Got to run to work now.. tc..

With Lots of Love:
Nisha
