One of the coolest look at Gucci

Nails Trends from Allure.com:

"Red nails are classic, for sure, but they can also be a bit boring and mumsy if worn the wrong way. Gucci hit the—excuse the pun—nail on the head at its fall show by orange-ing up the color and having the models wear it on short, slightly rounded nails. The reason the shade is so perfect is because itisn't perfect: The burnt-orange tone gives it a slightly "off" quality, so it's not too pretty-pretty. To get the look, try O.P.I. in Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It or Barielle in Driven."

Nude Mattes

Remember this?

or this?

By now we are pretty sure you girl will be like

"Wut the... Dont they get it! its too much of mattes! please bring in something NEW!!"

The truth is darls, as much as we want to bring in something new, we just cant go against the force of fashion trends! We don't want to be outdated now don't we?

Neways, we do understand that these current matte colours might be a little bit too ‘loud’ for working or school goers. So..we have decided to bring in nude mattes. Ok we didn’t create this, but its inspired by Marc Jacob’s 2010 Fashion Week where all the models were seen with Samoan Sand, a warm beige-pink; Malaysian Mist, a light and sunny warm pink; Barefoot in Barcelona, a luscious nude; and Dulce de Leche, a sweet creamy nude.

It's a matte matte world!

Just when i thought ive had enough of matte and was ready to move forward to brights collection, i get another breaking news- its popping out in shows after shows! Yap thats right! read the following we got from bellasugar.com;
"If you thought the matte nail trend was a blip on the beauty radar, guess again. The no-shine look is popping up at show after show.

At Alexander Wang, an opaque neutral earned an urban edge thanks to Butter London's matte topcoat. Knock Out Cosmetics highlighted gloss-free blues and putties at DKNY, and at Behnaz Sarafpour, CND created a cashmere effect based on warm pinky-beige Desert Suede. Rounding off the list? Malandrino's cool heathered manicure (pictured), which you can recreate by applying CND polish in Dark Ruby, layering it with Copper Shimmer, and finishing with Super Matte top coat. (Subtract the shimmer shade and you've got the same look of Twinkle.)
See? Pure matteness."
And i personally think its pure madness! Matte polishes are making people mad! Everyone in the fashion world is goin matte. We in Malaysia however probably are not too into these matte craze. Why? im really not sure. Might just do a pool for it. Please do answer it ya.
Is it coz of work or school? or the colours aren't attractive? or too hard to apply? or you are just not that into it? Hmm...
While then.. We in nailgalore will probably come out with a whole new DIY selection of matte.. Probably in the next few days.. Till then..tc!

Trends~ MinxNails

Wanna know the latest upcoming nail trend? It’s non other than minx nail art!! Minx Nail are really the newest nail trend to show off your daring, sassy side. What are minx? Truthfully 30 mins ago I wouldn’t know too. But after some reading, it turns out that Minx is a solid film (metal-ly looking) with an adhesive back that requires heat to apply. Famous celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Christina Aguillara, Rihanna and Beyonce to name but a few was seen wearing these type of nails.

After much observation, it looks like its almost impossible to do it yourself without any professional help. Really hope it hits Malaysian nail saloon soon so that I can try it out myself. It looks kind of cool isn’t it? Looks like jewelry on nails! :-)

However, if you want to learn more about this form of art, do visit www.minxnails.com. They might have the answers to all your questions..
Enjoy..
