OPI YODEL ME ON MY CELL- SWISS COLLECTION SWATCHES, REVIEW & COMPARISON

Good morning girls.
Today’s post is specifically on one of the new OPI colour I just received; OPI Yodel Me On My cell. Now I know that I have a whole collection and I can just put the swatches from the whole collection here but this collection specifically has lots of colours to be compared with so I’m gonna post an individual swatches on them. Besides you know how every colour is unique so they are going to get my undivided attention after this:-D. Also its more fun..
Anyways, back to the colour of the day, OPI Yodel On My Cell is a blue shimmer that needed at least 3 coats to get this look. Yap it’s very sheer! It’s aqua blue with a hint of ‘peacock’ blue. I’m not too sure if I like this polish though. It’s a beautiful colour but it’s very common for this year. I would have jumped up and down for this if it were to be released last year instead of this. Nonetheless, the application was great, dries relatively fast, price the usual OPI price of Rm 65, great formulation etc.

Somehow it’s compared to OPI Catch Me in Your Net with slightly lesser glitter.

Forgive me but I really don’t see anything comparable here. Do You?

CHINA GLAZE VINTAGE VIXEN SWATCHES, REVIEW & COMPARISON PART 2

Ok so the saga continues..Read Part 1 here
Hey Doll is a mauve-pinkish shimmery coloured polish. This reminded me a lot of OPI's Meet Me On The Ferry so i did a comparison on them:
Nope. Not a match. Hey Doll is obviously darker:-)

Ingrid is a taupe like brown that has a little sparkles in it. One of my favorite too:-)

Jitterbug looks exactly like one of those Skin Food collection from Pedicure sparkle. Only this is much more 'thick' so 2-3coats is more than enough unlike the skin food ones that requires at least 5 coats to be this opaque. This colour has it all- blue, silver, grey. Its really sparkly with the little shimmers in it. Gorgeous!

Midnight Mission is a sparkly blue. I'm not sure if i like this. The problem is this shade of blue is just building up in my polish cupboard and im getting tired of it. I want another shade! Ok this at least isnt creamy like the others. This has little shimmers on it, so among all the "same" blues, this is the best:-)

Riveter Rouge. A red sparkly polish. But when i applied it i was under the impression that its leaning a little towards the orange side. But this picture shows a pure red red.

Swing baby is probably another colour that can easily found in Skin Food Pedicure Sparkle range. This is probably a distant cousin of Jitterbug:-) The same type i mean. It has gold shimmers in it that makes it look yellower. Quite nice:-)

Overall, i like the collection. However its not the type ill go all 'gaga' over. Few of the colours from this collection is something ive already have or at least is similar to what i have so it was kind of a waste to purchase this whole set. Application wise; it was kind of tricky. I'm not sure if its me or most of the polishes these days are getting harder to apply? Drying time is longer than usual also. Overall i would give this collection a B. Not so bad but nothing great:-(

CHINA GLAZE VINTAGE VIXEN SWATCHES, REVIEW & COMPARISON PART 1

Good Morning Girls..
Today I’m gonna post up my very much delayed post on China Glaze’s Vintage Vixen. The problem is the pictures aren’t that great as these pictures were taken on a cloudy day. I didn’t even realize that some pictures were all blurry due to low light intensity till today. Regardless, here are the pics;

Bogie is an eggplant like metalic coloured polish. These were 2 coats.

Classic camel is a mustard like coloured creme polish. On top of that it had this glassy like sparkles in it that made it look very unique. It looked quite nice on my nails, however this cant be seen in these pictures:-( It will surely look nicer on darker skin than mine. This reminded me of Mac's In The Buff so i did a comparison here:
Nah, doesnt look at all alike isn't it:-)

Emerald Fitzgerald is a blue-green metallic polish. Its really a classic beauty!

First class ticket is a purple-blue polish with metallic finishing. Its more purple than blue in real. I dont know why but all the purplish-bluish colours i've got comes out blue in the pictures:-( Regardless, this is a purple:-)

This colour definitely suits the name: Foxy! This is a red with a hint of brown coloured polish. One word to describe it: HOT!

Goin My Way is a brownish-bronze metallic polish. Among all the polish in this collection, this is one of my favorite. This picture doesn't at all show it's awesomeness:-)

Anyway, Goin My Way reminded me that i've got to get going to work so the other 6 colours? Ill continue later. Until then..
Take care..
