HOW DO I REVIEW AND RATE?
This post is created to help readers understand more on how i review products; basically what characteristics i’m looking for in a product etc. The end of this post i really hope that my readers knows as to what goes on in mind when i’m reviewing the products and how or why i give a product a certain score. At the end, my goal is to ensure that there is an unbiased opinion from my site which would ultimately guide my readers on their next picks and purchases.
REVIEW:
All the products reviewed here will be tested out by me and myself only. Anything that I didn’t use physically will never be reviewed.
Most of the products reviewed will be used at a certain duration before the review is done. (ie nail polish = at least 2 days). However, at times of swatches, it will not be worn for a long time, the duration as to how long it last will be in the footnote few days after that so do comeback to read up on that.
RATE
The ratings will be done on few different criteria. Of course the full review is more important, however, this is to sum up what i feel about the product. The criteria includes the product itself, the pricing, the application and finally the look of the product (packaging, labels etc.) Overall all these criteria will be summed up and later on i will give it a grading system - just like how our exams were:-)
RATE | WHAT IT MEANS? |
A A+ = 95% and above A = 90%-94% A- = 80%-89% | This is the highest rating i would consider giving. It basically means the product is almost perfect ie the minor flaws maybe the look or pricing etc. However the product itself is excellent therefore of course the most recommended product |
B B+ = 75%-79% B = 70%-74% B- = 65%-69% | This reflects a good product overall. It might have some minor flaws but its something i would recommend to others and use it myself. |
C C+ = 55%-64% C = 45%-54% | Its a ok product. lots of major flaws. Might not want to use it again |
D Below 44% | Very much below average product. Will never use it again and does not recommend the product at all. |
How Do I Divide The Percentage Rating?
Product : 50% overall
Pricing : 25% overall
Application : 15% overall
Look : 10% overall
