HOW TO OPEN NAIL POLISH BOTTLES THAT ARE STUCK

Have you ever felt that you’re the weakest person on the face of the planet whenever you cant open just a bottle of nail polish? I know I do! Damn! This morning in fact I felt the worst especially when you are rushing to work and your favorite nail polish buat hal!:-(

Obviously the reason the cap was stuck to the bottle is due to my own laziness. At times I’m just too lazy to clean the rim surface of the polish bottle and Pham! This is what happens! Wuhuhu..

Anyways, if you really don’t have your Mr. handyman around, you probably should try this:

If the bottle cap is too slippery; then just try wrapping rubber band around it

If its due to dried polishes; then dip the bottle in hot water for few minutes. Usually the heat from the water would liquidyfy the solid polish, so you can easily unscrew the bottle. However, do not put it in the water for so long though as it may ruin the cap. (whenever you do this please do not put in the whole bottle, just the cap are only. Not the polish part as this may ruin the formula and ‘rosakkan’ the label too).

7 TIPS TO REMOVE NAIL STAINS

Hi Girls..

Sorry havn’t got the time to update. Been busy all week and will probably continue being busy till god knows when.:-(

However, I’ve received numerous emails asking me advice on how to remove stained nails, so I think its high time to post some tips on it. Below are few tips ive found over the net, and some are personally recommended.

Apply lemon juice onto your nails and let it be for sometime before removing it as this would allow the lemon juice to act on the stanins. Just make sure you rince it after that as it may dry out your nails.
· Use whitening toothpaste and brush it onto your nails.
· Like lemon juice, you can always use vinegar as your alternative. Brush your nails if needed.
· Rub a patato over your nails, then scub your nails. This should remove a minor stain on your nails.
· Make a mixture of salt and olive oil and scrub it onto your nails.

If all these doesn’t work, then go for a more advanced ‘formula’. However bare in mind these can be a bit drying and shouldn’t be done all the time to avoid nail breakage ya:

· Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water and soak your nails. Use the brush to scrub then wash off.
· Dilute 1 part bleach with 10 parts water and soak your nails in the solution. Scrub afterwards and wash the bleach and water solution off thoroughly.

ZOYA RANDOM SWATCHES

Hey girls..
ok this is a quick swatch on few of the beatiful zoya colours. Some pictures doesnt do justice at all to the colour. i just dont know how to take pictures of sparkly-duochrome like pictures:-( neone can advice? plus the sun was shinning to strongly so its all over the place. Nevertheless.. hope you will enjoy this, and hopefully in the near future ill do it again if the sun mellows down:-) tc..

Wow! OPI finally heard my prayers! They came out with a new suede colour, and this time its in green! Greens and blue are rocking this season and creating a suede in green is totally putting mattes onto the next level! For those who liked the original version, im pretty sure you will love this too. I am surely gonna! Love greens! Can't wait to get one of this! Hopefully soon :-)

OHH OUW! OPI AND LAWSUIT?!

Ok.. so i assume all nail polish lovers knows about this but for those who dont, let me just sum this up for you.

Firstly the most shocking and scarry news is that OPI has sued a number of e-tailers for copyright infringement. Basically it means that online stores like Transdesign, or 8ty8Beauty and so on who were not an authorized OPI retailers were sued for the copyright thingy. In other words its illegal as what they have been doing is gettig OPI for really really cheap price and selling it for a fraction of the price or way cheaper then retail price without being the authorized distributor ($17.99 vs $4.50?) [where do they get that so cheap price anyway! i want!]

Now the 2nd problem is i dont know where do we stand, when it comes to Nail Galore. On one hand we are a salon listed as OPI Malaysia distributor [click here to find out; under Sarawak] and on the other hand i don't know or understand this copyright thingy! anyone can enlighten me? i'm not a lawyer for god sake! Damn always tried to follow the legal way and always seem to reach a T-junction:-( wuhuhuhu:-( I just hope things will be ok. If at all anything happens [touch wood!] don't worry, the swatches will continue:-)

Plus i really hope transdesign and all will still be operating. Ive always wanted to purchase other brands from them for this site but it looks like we'll have to put that on hold as it seems they are no longer able to use the USPS to ship the polishes thus really hiking the shipping costs to something beyond affordable. Far beyond. imagine usd 45 to usd 200! crazy!

Gosh! Hope everything goes fine all over again. May God bless all the nail polish freaks like us! Sorry for the long ranting.

OPI SHREK FOREVER AFTER COLLECTION SWATCHES

Running away from the stress of the city, my friends and i drove to Damai, about 45 minutes away from Kuching. And i must say its the most beautiful un- commercialized beach in Malaysia. Absolutely the best, way better thn pangkor or tioman or what so ever places in Malaysia or the surrounding countries.

Neway enough of babbling, i was sitting outside, and looking at these scenery from my room

i decided to do these swatches:-)

Fiercely Fiona

the first colour is all about fiona. named after fiona, the colour surely doesnt look like her but its unbelievably pretty in its own genre. the colour is lemonanly yellow with a hint of green. Not too much green but not much yellow too.. just the proper balance. applying it was just like other OPI colours; simple and 2 layers.

Funky Donkey

Funky Donkey is really funky. But not that unique. the moment i put it on i knew its a dupe of grape pop from China Glaze. its deep creamy dark purple. quite funky i would say.

Ogre The Top Blue

ogre the top is a dark neon blue. absolutely perfect blue. really nice. can't seem to find any colour to compare this with.Probably suzi says feng shui is the closest to this. it looks really cool and people are into blue these days anyway (Beyonce-why dont you love me video) . 2 layers is more than enough :-)

Rumple's Wiggin'

This colour reminds me so much of light as air from China Glaze. its a light lavender- cream purple. 2 layers as well.

Whats with the catitude?

its a sky blue creme. nice.... with lots of atitude:-)

Who the Shrek Are You?

This is by far the best colour, unique and i would say most gorgeous gooey green i've ever seen. ( Not the bad way really). its so shrek! The name is also so nice! it looks like a dried lime green:-)
